Mary Anne Sutton, 74, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at her home in Alliance with her family by her side.
She was born April 11, 1946 in Crawford, Nebraska to Charles and Margaret (Piper) Anderson.
On December 30, 1967 she was united in marriage to Peter John Sutton.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Sutton (Carl Shaw) of Alliance, Cassie Warren (Will Fritzler) of Alliance and Christina (Richard) Lotton of Sidney, NE, her six grandchildren, Rachelle (Bill) Sutton-Corbett, Gary Jr, Eric, Zachary, Jesse and Joelyann and her six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jaxon, AnaBella, Jocelyn, Ainslee and Kru. She is also survived by her brother, Kenneth (Jeannette) Anderson of Chadron, her sisters, Kathy (Paul) Wolvington of Chadron and Judy Anderson of Colorado Springs, CO, her sisters-in-law, Nancy (Sutton) White Eyes of Pine Ridge, SD, Susie (Sutton) Porcupine of Pine Ridge, SD, Carol Sutton of Alliance and brother-in-law Bill and (Sandy) Wounded Arrow of Scottsbluff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, James Anderson, her sister, Charlene Gasseling, brother-in-law, Andrew Sutton, and 2 great grandsons, Aaron and Austin Sutton.
A wake service will be Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be Friday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Father Todd Philipsen officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
