The Alliance boys tennis team traveled to Lexington Friday, where the team was able to claim second in the Lexington High School Boys Tennis Invitational.

In round one of #1 Doubles, Alliance faced off against Lexington, beating them with a final score of 8-3. In the second round, they took on Kearney Catholic High School, which narrowly defeated Alliance with a score of 8-6. In round three, Alliance claimed victory over North Platte with a final score of 8-2.

In the final match, Alliance took on Gering. Alliance was able to deal Gering defeat with a final score of 8-3, claiming third place.

The #2 Doubles team began the invite with a match against Lexington. Lexington defeated Alliance with a score of 8-1. In the second round, Holdrege defeated Alliance with a score of 8-0. In the third round, Alliance beat Gering with a final score of 8-2. In the final match, Scottsbluff defeated Alliance with a score of 8-0. The #2 Doubles team took sixth place.

The team as a whole scored a total of 13 points, putting them in second place, behind McCook.
