Alliance Track Travels to Scottsbluff

The Alliance track team made its way to Scottsbluff on April 18, in preparation for the Best in the West Classic, which was also hosted at Bearcat Stadium, to take part in the Scottsbluff Twilight Invitational.

There, they were one of six teams, all utilizing the meet as a practice run for the Best in the West and Conference.

The following are the results from the athletes who made it into the top 10 in their events:

Boys:

100 Meters:

Brock Brass claimed sixth place with a time of 11.50.

200 Meters:

Mason Hiemstra claimed fifth place with a time of 23.39.

Eric Pollack took eighth place with a time of 24.34.

400 Meters:

Devin Hughes claimed fourth place with a time of 54.80.

Kaden Kindred took sixth place with a time of 57.13.

800 Meters:

Kaden Kindred claimed fourth place with a time of 2:11.73.

1600 Meters:

Alec Garcia claimed sixth place with a time of 5:22.43.

3200 Meters:

Alec Garcia claimed fourth place with a time of 11:34.50.

110m Hurdles:

Erik Folchert claimed second place with a time of 16.70.

Parker Dahlberg took eighth place with a time of 18.70.

4X100 Relay:

The Alliance team, made up of Peyton Hudson, Brock Brass, Erik Folchert and Dylan Osborn, claimed fourth place with a time of 46.60.

4X400 Relay:

The Alliance team, made up of Eric Pollack, McClain Adamson, Devin Hughes and Mason Hiemstra, claimed first place with a time of 3:32.91.

Shotput:

Mario Garza claimed sixth place with a throw of 40’04”.

High Jump:

Keegan Grant claimed fourth place with a jump of 5’07”.

Triple Jump:

Reece Jensen claimed fifth place with a jump of 37’11.50”.

Kellen Muhr took seventh place with a jump of 36’11.00”.

Colin Bartels placed eighth with a jump of 35’03.50”.

Girls:

200 Meters:

Payton Weber claimed third place with a time of 28.33.

Dianna Kollars took fourth place with a time of 28.41.

Riley Lawrence placed fifth with a time of 28.44.

400 Meters:

Hannah Weare claimed second place with a time of 1:08.52.

Laykin Sperl took fifth place with a time of 1:10.61.

Braelyn Shrewsbury placed seventh with a time of 1:13.26.

Keeley Mazanec placed eighth with a time of 1:14.44.

Lilly Wagner claimed fourth place with a time of 2:54.21.

Mikayla Seebohm took fifth place with a time of 2:55.11.

Braelyn Shrewsbury placed sixth with a time of 2:55.43.

Macala Hood claimed second place with a time of 18.50.

Julia Carlson took seventh place with a time of 21.21.

Kelsey Horton placed eighth with a time of 1:00.56.

4X100 Relay:

The Alliance team, made up of Nikki Haller, Payton Weber, Amauri Browning and Leyton Schnell, claimed fourth place with a time of 54.49.

4X400 Relay:

The Alliance team, made up of Amauri Browning, Payton Weber, Lillie Otto and Hannah Weare, claimed first place with a time of 4:37.75.

Shotput:

Caisey Pfeiffer claimed 10th place with a throw of 29’10.50”.

High Jump:

Jordan Hopp claimed second place with a jump of 4’11”.

Avah Steggal took seventh place with a jump 4’07”.

Long Jump:

Leyton Schnell claimed fifth place with a jump of 15’02.00”.

Amauri Browning took seventh place with a jump of 14’08.50”.

Triple Jump:

Lillie Otto claimed fourth place with a jump of 32’05.25”.
