On July 2, people flocked to Bulldog Stadium in Alliance, taking to the field for a different sport, one that is catching on throughout western Nebraska: lacrosse.

The Alliance Girls Basketball team attended a team camp at Chadron State College. This camp provided varsity, junior varsity, freshman, and junior high competition and valuable team practice time. Each team is guaranteed 5 games. A minimum of 7 players per team with one coach is required.
