At a meeting earlier this month, the Alliance School Board voted to approve the purchase of a new timing system to be used at the track, which would open the door for the district to host larger track meets such as districts. 

Children shoot arrows at their targets this past week in the upper level of the former Woolrich factory. The Alliance Archery Club has utilized this expansive space as their off-season range for years. A warm place during winter, the range includes 3D targets among re-purposed Christmas trees.

The Alliance High wrestling team took fifth place in the Southwest Wyoming (Yoder) tournament this past Saturday. Losing their first dual of the day, the best they could hope for was fifth.


The Activities Hall of Fame is organized as a way of maintaining the rich heritage and tradition of the successful activity programs at Alliance High School. The latest Alliance High School Activities Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be 7 p.m. April 6 in the high school PAC.

CHADRON — The Alliance Bulldogs visited Chadron Tuesday evening for varsity basketball action. In the boys game, AHS easily caged the Cardinals 68-42. Alliance’s varsity girls were on the other side as the Bulldogs would battle but would eventually fall to Chadron 44-25.
