Tarri S. Honstein, 68, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
She was born on August 26, 1950 in Alliance, to Robert and Joanne (Hawley) Corp. Tarri grew up in Alliance and graduated from Alliance High School.
She was married to William Cler and to this union a son Donald was born. She was later united in marriage to Steven Honstein on Feb. 14, 1976, at the United Methodist Church in Alliance.
Tarri was a long time Hemingford resident. She had lived in New York for a period of time where she worked in an office of the F.B.I. After returning to Nebraska she lived in Hemingford and was a teacher’s aide in the Hemingford Public Schools for many years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance, with Rev. Esther Achi officiating. Cremation will follow the service with inurnment at the Hemingford Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at the funeral home in Alliance, with the family being present from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Bobcats Beating Cancer or a charity of the donor’s choice.
