Ronald Kent Harvey

Ronald Kent Harvey, 73, passed away March 4, 2019, at his home in Arvada CO. He was born in Kearney, NE to loving parents Clinton and Hazel Harvey. He was the first born followed by his twin brother Robert.

Ron graduated from Alliance High School in 1963. He enlisted in the Navy in 1965, and graduated high in his class of National Defense Information School. Ron was assigned as a reporter on the USS Capricornus. After his discharge, he attended UNK and worked for Dunn & Bradstreet as a business investigator. He and his wife Mary

Ann transferred to Dunn & Bradstreet in San Francisco. He attended San Francisco University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Broadcast Journalism. Ron had a love for investigative reporting and the free press taking him to many fields. He was a playwright, poet and genealogist.

Ron is survived by his twin brother Robert (Karen) Mineral VA, Glenda (Charles)

Rusk, Lincoln, NE, nieces and nephews Doug Shankland, Jason (Angela) Shankland, Zach (Emily) Harvey, and Katie (Tim) LaPira. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Harvey, and nephew Daniel Stanley.

His wishes were to be laid to rest at Alliance Veterans Cemetery, and his celebration of life will be held there June 21, 2019 at 2:00. Memorials may be designated to
