Was it the coffee? Alliance Middle School counselor Michael Garcia isn’t sure, but he did say the AMS parent/teacher conferences last week met an increased attendance goal as the Bulldog Leadership Team manned their own coffee shop. Garcia expected the student group to generate $20-$30 in tips. Instead the Bullpup café (sponsored by Dairy Queen, Bowl-Mor, Korner Grill and the Alliance Theatre) raised $250, which they presented to the Alliance Recreation Center Thursday for its after school program.
