Mobius Communications Company
Mobius Communications Company was formed to enhance and expand services offered by The Hemingford Cooperative Telephone Company (HCTC). Mobius is a wholly owned subsidiary of HCTC and offers a wide variety of telecommunications services to the Panhandle of Nebraska.
Mobius began offering dial up and long-distance services and in 2001 expanded to feature DSL and telephone service in Alliance and other surrounding communities. Alternative options for internet like wireless and satellite were added to reach rural customers who didn’t have other options.
In 2010, Mobius constructed their first fiber facility in Berea and rural Box Butte County. They also expanded fiber north of Alliance and recently finished fiber construction along Highway 87.
Mobius offers data cabling, business telephone systems, security and monitoring and recently added managed network solutions for area businesses.
“We are pleased to be a member of the Alliance Chamber of Commerce. I feel being a member of the chamber increases our footprint through their marketing because they have exposure with a large following. Consumers tend to view our business more favorably because they see the networking opportunities the chamber provides. The Alliance Chamber is a necessity in bringing the business community together and they act as the voice for common interests of the members. They have such a positive impact on small businesses.” (Tonya Mayer)
“We have long been serving the community of Alliance and appreciate how supportive the community is. Alliance has a great business community and they are great to work with!”
