Kenneth Hamilton was awarded a Quilt of Valor on June 29, 2020. His quilt was pieced and bound by Sheila Walker, quilted by Linda Schneider.

United States Army Veteran Tech Spec 3 Kenneth Hamilton began his military career on October 5, 1954. He was a gun crewman and his most significant duty assignment was with Battery B 96th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. Serving 1 year, 3 months and 11 days of overseas duty.

His commendations and awards include the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Kenneth was released from active duty on July 6, 1954 and was transferred to the United States Army Reserves while stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA.

He received his certificate of honorable discharge after 8 years of service under the Universal Training and Service Act.
