Fifth Annual Glow Run Sees Success

People gathered together Saturday morning to take part in the fifth annual Glow in the Spirit Fun Run to raise money for St. Agnes Academy, making it a success.

Kris Boyer, president of St. Agnes Parents Inc., said the event is one of several fundraisers throughout the year.

“Our chief goal is just to raise money for the school,” said Boyer.

This year, the format changed a bit, Boyer noted, shifting to an earlier time. She notes that while attendance was down from some of the previous years, the event was still a success because it shows support for the school.

“We’re down a little bit,” said Boyer. “Usually we have the run at night, so we just thought we’d try it during the day and add color. It’s still a good turnout. We just really appreciate everyone supporting the school.”
