The Alliance Times-Herald is seeking nominations for 2019’s Person of the Year.
Alliance Times-Herald Director of Operations Shaun Friedrichsen explained that Person of the Year is a way for the community to recognize the people who make Alliance a great place to live.
“There is so much good in the community, and we want to honor the people who bring out the best in the community,” said Friedrichsen. “The staff here at the Alliance Times-Herald is excited to highlight the community’s unsung heroes. We want to share their stories about how they work to bring out the best in others.”
Nomination forms can be found on page A5 of this edition of the Alliance Times-Herald. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 18 at 4:30 p.m. From the nominees, 2019’s Person of the Year will be selected and will be featured in the Jan. 1 issue of the Alliance Times-Herald. All other nominees will be recognized in that issue of the paper as well.
People are encouraged to bring the nomination forms, as well as a photo of the nominee, to the Alliance Times-Herald office, located at 114 E 4th Street, or send them via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Last year, Roxie Smith was selected as the person of the year for her work and dedication to the students at Alliance Public Schools.
