The Alliance Public Library will offer a free two-part workshop on Etsy, an online marketplace for buying and selling handmade and vintage items and craft supplies. The workshop will present the seller’s side of Etsy and will show participants how to set up their online shop, list items for sale, manage inventory, and utilize third party services. The first session will be Thursday, September 26, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. and will offer an introduction to selling on Etsy and setting up a shop. Patrons are welcome to bring photos of their products so they can create a shop and begin listing items. The second session will be Thursday, October 10, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. and will focus on advanced settings and services.
Participants in the workshop must have working knowledge of internet use. Attendees are welcome to bring their personal laptops and a sack dinner. A limited number of laptops will be available for use on a first come, first serve basis. The workshop will be held in Community Room A of the Alliance Learning Center at 1750 Sweetwater Avenue and is provided free of charge. Space is limited to 6 participants. To reserve a seat, please contact the library at 308-762-1387.
