As all of you know, COVID-19 has brought some interesting times to the world, our country, our states our youth and their families. With the recommendations from the CDC and our Panhandle Public Health to not hold gatherings of more than ten people and practice social distancing, the Box Butte County 4-H Fundraiser that was originally planned for Monday, March 30 has been postponed.
The Box Butte County 4-H Council has decided to postpone this event in hopes that we will be able to reschedule when this pandemic subsides. The 4-H Fundraiser is an annual event that raises money to help fund youth programs, leadership opportunities, 4-H campers, scholarships, and county fair events.
When the 4-H Council meets in April, they will reevaluate the situation, and hope to come up with a new date that works for our 4-H families and the community members.
If you purchased a ticket, please hang onto it as we hope to reschedule.
We appreciate all the support that Box Butte County has provided for the 4-H Program. These youth are the future and we encourage others to join.
Please stay tuned for more information to come. If you have questions please call the Box Butte County Extension Office 308-762-5616 or feel free to email Ashley Fenning, firstname.lastname@example.org.
