Tree and Wreath Festival

Saturday was the first day of the annual Tree and Wreath Festival at the Knight Museum and Sandhills Center. Dozens of the trees and wreathes spread out among the exhibits to be sold by silent auction to raise money to benefit both the Knight and Sallows museums. Visitors can also vote on their favorites by dropping cash or coin by each. Several Regional West Hospice Memorial Christmas trees are in the lobby with ornaments in memory of loved ones. Miniature Christmas village scenes are in the theatre. Entertainment is set for Nov. 28-29 with the 7th Street Dancers at 6 p.m. each night and St. John’s Brass at 3 p.m. Dec. 1. Bidding ends at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
