Tuesday, City workers paint a fresh crosswalk and test the stop light, on East Third Street between Mississippi and Grand. The workers are preparing to begin reusing the crosswalk within the next couple of weeks. Use of this particular crosswalk is part of the Safe School Project adopted by the city. Previously, a traffic signal/crosswalk had been located at Potash and Third.
